a long way from home.

A body of work that lives at the intersection of documentary and personal pilgrimage. Inspired by Todd Webb’s images of post-independence Africa and shaped by my own journey through Morocco and Senegal in 2021, this project is both visual record and spiritual reflection. It captures the beauty of everyday life—children playing, elders resting, a rhythm of living that feels familiar and sacred. With each frame, I’m asking: what connects us across time and geography? What do we carry with us? And what does it mean to return to a place that may never have left you?
